Those aware of this little, obscure blog should already be long aware of Dennis Prager's excellent radio show, his website and written work, and his specific views on same-sex marriage. His latest written column makes an essential point in the arguments--legal and moral--against same-sex marriage.

His main point is so simple and compelling, one must suppose either ignorance or knavery on the part of judges who hold that the anti-miscegenation decisions have any thing to do with the current debate:
There are enormous differences between men and women, but there are no differences between people of different races. Men and women are inherently different, but blacks and whites (and yellows and browns) are inherently the same. Therefore, any imposed separation by race can never be moral or even rational; on the other hand, separation by sex can be both morally desirable and rational. Separate bathrooms for men and women is moral and rational; separate bathrooms for blacks and whites is not.
