A Sacramento Superior Court today upheld Jerry Brown's sabotage rewording of Proposition 8's title and summary ballot language.
http://www.sacbee.com/102/story/1142913.html He did it to frame the issue negatively and repel a certain percentage of California voters. The superior court is not the last word. There is a Court of Appeal this can go to, and then to the California Supreme Court. I don't know the law well in this area, but my guess is the only hope is that the Court of Appeal does something different and that the state Supreme Court decline to mess with that holding. In other words, it's a longshot, and we're probably stuck with the obnoxious rewording of the ballot language.
So what. We'll win, anyway.
